Trippie Redd, the 18 year old rapper described by Vice’s music channel Noisey as 'Soundcloud Rap's Frank Sinatra', emerged in 2015, combining elements of trap and melodic rap with emo and punk rock.

Since then, he's released his A Love Letter To You and A Love Letter to You 2 mixtapes and has been hailed by Pigeons & Planes as 'rap’s next rockstar'. The Ohio native also supported G-Eazy on his Beautiful & Damned Tour and collaborated with Lil Wayne and Erykah Badu, who are rumoured to feature on his debut album, due out later this year. Redd will perform at Wireless Festival in London this July, joining Rick Ross, DJ Khaled, Rae Sremmurd and Playboi Carti on the line-up.
